It arrived yesterday. It looks good and we have to thank a host of people who put in the work to make it happen. The Committee, Fred, Reg, Sandra, Malcolm, David M and my son Ben who working as a team humped the flags in and out of the car, helped to barrow the sand and lay the flags.
It’s not finished. We need to think of security, more flooring, some decking in front, shelves, paint and probably more but it’s here so let’s all come down today and have a look and while you’re here play in our 5 game midsummer melee which starts at 10am. The weather looks dry (not like yesterday) and there’s cash prizes waiting to be won and a huge raffle to enjoy.
