The new terrain is built and in action. Initially it was rather full of gravel and the contractors were stopped just before they dropped another ton on it. Some was removed and it had its first outing on Tuesday 12th November.
It means we now have a maximum of 15 pistes, some of them granite chips, some limestone chips and the last on pea gravel. One thing we learned was not to build in the rainy season but it’s difficult to avoid this in the UK. It will settle down and dry out when we get some dry weather, maybe in 2020. It’s 14m by 14m so we can have 5 lanes of 2.7m width or 4 lanes of 3.5m width. Come and try it.
